Just a week after casino magnate Steve Wynn said he would build a "Wynn Atlantic City" megaresort if he were to acquire land in the East Coast gaming Mecca, Atlantic City officials were taking a more cautionary approach.
The city's leaders have to mull over what to do with the Bader Field site-and how it could impact other business plans for the city. The site is a 142.5-acre tract along Albany Avenue belonged to the historic Bader Field airport, which the city closed last October.
Atlantic City Mayor Bob Levy said proposals to develop the site came almost weekly after the airport's closing, but nothing has materialized to this point. Speculation has ...
