Three of the six car rental agencies serving Lindbergh Field will move their operations out of the airport in July.
Hertz Corp., Avis Rent-A-Car System Inc., and National Car Rental System Inc., will move to the former General Dynamics facility on North Harbor Drive at Stillwater Road, about a half-mile from the airport terminals.
The move is due to on-going airport expansion. The area where the three car rental lots are now located will be used for construction of eight additional West Terminal gales.
