WILLIAMSBURG, Va.--Apr. 27--As Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. announced record sales and earnings for the first quarter of 1995, a small group of shareholders yesterday pressed the nation's largest brewer to study the impact of its advertisements on underage drinking.
Stockholders rejected the study resolution by a vote of about 184 million shares to about 12 million, but proponents said they were pleased with the results of their efforts.
