TULSA, Okla., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Educational Development Corp. (Nasdaq SmallCap: EDUC) has just completed a record year for sales and earnings for fiscal year ended Feb. 28, 1995, reports Randall W. White, chairman and CEO. Sales were up 56% to $12,479,907 compared to $8,016,033 a year ago.

Pretax earnings were $1,831,786 for fiscal year ended Feb. 28, 1995 compared to $886,651 a year ago, an increase of 107%.

Net earnings were $1,171,786 for fiscal year ended Feb. 28, 1995 compared to $603,651 a year ago before cumulative accounting change, an increase of 94%.

Earnings per share were $.45 for fiscal year ended Feb. 28, 1995 compared to $.24 per ...
