Sep. 23--Tulsa Public Schools has landed a nearly $12 million federal grant for magnet schools, believed to be one of the largest grants to an Oklahoma public school district ever, officials said Saturday.
Superintendent Michael Zolkoski said the office of First District Congressman John Sullivan notified TPS that it had been awarded the grant of $3.9 million for each of three years through the U.S. Department of Education's Magnet Schools Assistance program.
