Sep. 23--A 48-year-old Logansport man died early Saturday when he was crushed by a machine at DaimlerChrysler Casting Plant on East Boulevard.
Howard County Coroner Brad Bray said John Kelly Wright died instantly about 5:30 a.m.
Michelle Tinson, a spokeswoman for Chrysler, said she was not able to comment on any specifics about the death since it is being investigated.
"It's very unfortunate," she said Saturday afternoon. "We express our condolences to the employee's family."
