The consequences of neglecting the maintenance of a machine's coolant supply can be severe, not only for the machine tool and its operator but also for the business. The Health & Safety Executive is embarking on a nationwide check-up of coolant management within engineering companies, advising end users of potential hazards and areas for improvement.
