I strive to get across more than just information in the visuals that I use. They need to have emotion. Content is important but when you wrap it in an emotional response you get a very memorable and effective piece of communication.

This ad offers an emotional response and goes beyond the obvious of showing that curly fries cause heartburn, it shows there can be serious damage. But there are a number of details that keep me from loving this piece. A less-than-inspired layout. An overt visual marriage of curly fries and barbwire that doesn't let me discover the hidden danger. The background color diminishes any savory quality with the fries that ...
