Shade has become a rare commodity during Arkansas State football practices. Under the shadow of their athletic facility just south of the astroturf stadium, the Indians have been preparing on their practice fields for their season opener at Austin, Texas, against Big 12 power-house Texas.
So far, ASU head coach Steve Roberts has seen his 2007 group steadily improve to reach their goal of a Sun Belt Conference championship and a post-season bowl game.
