WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 1995--Bertucci's Inc. announced the resignation of vice president/operations George Carey, 36, and the departure, by mutual agreement, of chief operating officer Howard Gevertz, 48, effective today.

Founder/CEO Joey Crugnale has assumed the COO role, a position he formerly held. A search is underway for Carey's replacement.
