Sep. 24--OAKLAND, Calif. -- It seemed everyone in McAfee Coliseum knew the Oakland Raiders were going to run the football in the second half yesterday, and still the Cleveland Browns could not stop them.
The Browns allowed a 100-yard rusher for the third straight game. This time, Lamont Jordan carved up Cleveland's defense for 121 yards and a touchdown in Oakland's 26-24 victory.
Jordan had 29 carries and averaged 4.2 yards, and 47 of his yards came in the fourth quarter.
Backup running back Justin Fargas added 50 yards on eight carries.
