McKENZIE BRIDGE - Developer Steve McGhehey has three framing crews standing by, ready to start reconstruction of the Log Cabin Inn, the centerpiece of a historic resort on the McKenzie River that burned to the ground 18 months ago.
While the news no doubt will please many former guests with fond memories of their own stays at the century-old inn - itself the replacement of the original 1880s stagestop that burned in 1906 - the new resort definitely will not be a replica of the old.
