THE leader of Iran yesterday delivered his strongest denial yet that hiscountry is building a nuclear bomb.
Inatelevisioninterview before flying to New York, where he is due to address the UNtomorrow, president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also insisted Iran was not heading forwar with the U.S.
Anti-Iranian protests are expected in New York and at Columbia University whereMr Ahmadinejad is to make a speech today.
His visit has also stirred up a major controversy after the hardline leader,who has publicly called for Israel to be 'wiped off the map', said he wanted tolay a wreath at the site of the World Trade Centre in New York.
