Sep. 25--LAKE WYLIE -- The much-discussed water park and resort hotel pursued by Concord, N.C., earlier this year will break ground in the next few months.
Great Wolf Resorts Inc. announced plans Friday for a 402-suite, four-story resort in Concord. The project also will feature a 98,000-square foot indoor entertainment area including North Carolina's largest indoor water park. Restaurants, a spa, miniature golf course, Internet station, movie and music center and other amenities also are planned.
