Vandals roaming through Bethel and River Road neighborhoods early Sunday smashed windows and spray painted at least 30 cars, Eugene police say - leaving neighbors bewildered and angry.
At least four people in two cars were involved in the spree, which was first reported at 2:15 a.m. near Barger Drive and Ohio Street, police said.
The vandals, wielding a metal tire iron or pipes and armed with red, gold and black spray paint, wound a course through residential streets, bashing and marking cars parked on the side of the road, Eugene police Sgt. Kevin McCormick said. A damage estimate of all the vandalism ...
