Sep. 26--Any day now, the call will go out for proposals to provide Mineta San Jose International Airport's new North concourse with the best mix of restaurants and retail outlets a showcase terminal can have.
The city says it wants the gleaming terminal to provide local flavor and high-gloss consumer shine -- as well as revenues to reduce that $725 million construction bond.
The heck with the city: What do we want? What do business travelers, visiting families and geek tourists want?
