Bopanna, Varman make first round exits at Mumbai Open
Mumbai, Sep 26 (PTI) Indian wild cards Rohan Bopanna and Somdev Dev Varman made first round exits at the USD 4,16,000 Kingfisher Airlines Mumbai Tennis Open after showing some fight but squandering chances too at the Cricket Club of India here.
India no one Bopanna, ranked 244th on the ATP computer, wasted three match points in the deciding third set after having taken one set to love lead against his higher ranked rival Nicolas Devilder and lost opening round clash in three sets last night.
