The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) announces that Jamie-Lyn Bacon of Tonawanda, New York, has been selected as the winner of the 2008 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month Logo Design Contest. A recent graduate of Harkness Career and Technical Center, Bacon was a student in the graphic design technology class.

Bacon is enrolled in the fall at Bryant and Stratton College to pursue an associate degree in Web design. She will continue on to a four-year college to study graphic design and then plans to work on a master's degree.
