When Jamie Silva looks across the line of scrimmage at UMass' Liam Coen on Saturday, the Boston College free safety won't be seeing just an opposing quarterback.
Silva will also see a good friend, not to mention an old rival from their high school days in Providence.
"He was always the best quarterback that we were going to face," Silva said yesterday.
Silva was on the only team to beat Coen's in high school, as his East Providence squad came back from a 21-point deficit - Coen scored all three touchdowns - to beat Coen's LaSalle Academy, 35-21, in the 2002 state championship game.
