Sep. 27--Sutter County officials say the key to cheaper medication is in the cards.
Wednesday marked the debut of the county's participation in a discount prescription drug card program sponsored by the National Association of Counties.
The program allows residents to walk into pharmacies in the county and use the cards to receive discounts on any prescription drugs not covered by a health plan.
"I don't know of any (pharmacies) that aren't participating," said Human Services Director Ed Smith.
