Sep. 27--Shawn Ferguson has taken some heat lately as the Lucas County Improvement Corp.'s chief executive officer, especially from Commissioner Ben Konop.
Members of the agency's executive committee tried to take pressure off Mr. Ferguson yesterday by turning up the burner on Mr. Konop.
Jeannie Hylant, president of the economic agency's board of directors and chairman of its executive committee, said the agency "has a different view of Shawn Ferguson's performance as the CEO of our organization."
