More than 100 million voters chose seven new 'world wonders' after a six month, worldwide vote to update the original list drawn up around 200 B.C.--of which only the pyramids of Giza remain today.

And Swiss adventurer Bernard Weber, who launched the New Seven Wonders campaign in 1999, says he will next launch 3-D photos of the new wonders into outer space on a compact disc or an iPod. Although he hasn't divulged any details, he says the images will float in space to be discovered if, one day, the Earth no longer exists.
