Sep. 29--WEST PITTSTON -- Despite losing three key players, Wyoming Area battled back in the second half and held on for a 20-14 win against GAR in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 2A game on Friday night at Anthony "Jake" Sobeski Stadium.
Tyler Serbin, Mike DePietro and John Petrucci combined for 164 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Wyoming Area offense. DePietro scored two touchdowns and Serbin added another.
