THIS IS so frustrating. For years it's been blindingly obvious - even tothose of us with no business acumen - that Cambridge cries out for a decenthotel at reasonably affordable prices.
Tourists, visiting professors and students with extra cash in their walletshaven't had much of a choice until now, even though Hotel Felix opened tofavourable reviews four years ago on the outskirts of town.
So the latest offering from the Hotel du Vin chain has a distinctwhy-didn't-I-think-of-this feel to it - except you would have needed access to[pounds sterling]10 million to purchase and redesign this splendid Grade II-listed building onTrumpington Street.
