Sep. 29--Most people, while growing up, repeatedly change what they want to be when they grow up. Not so for Rick Erickson. Not only did he never waver in his career choice, he made his choice at an age when most kids are trying to figure out how to tie their shoes, not how to spend their professional career.
At age six, Erickson decided he wanted to be a musician, specifically an organist.
It was love at first note when Erickson attended a performance by Virgil Fox, an organist known for his "heavy organ" concerts to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
