Sep. 30--The past two times Todd Pletcher saddled Lawyer Ron, he romped to impressive wins at Saratoga Race Course.

He won the Grade I Woodward on Sept. 1 by 8 lengths; on July 28 he set a track record at the Spa when he won the 1 1/8 -mile Whitney by 4 lengths in 1:46.64.

Lawyer Ron will run again today in the Grade I, $750,000 Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park.
