DRESSED IN BLACK CARGO PANTS AND A GRAY V-NECK T-SHIRT, SHE ROLLS UP to the entrance of the Four Seasons Hotel in a black Mercedes sedan. She could just as easily have arrived on one of her six motorcycles.
Today, Dana E. Owens, 37, the supersuccessful artist and businesswoman better known as Queen Latifah, is just a Sister in search of a good meal. She finds just that at a sunny outdoor table where she often seeks sanctuary. She surveys the Japanese meal spread before her--grilled salmon, tofu, vegetables, and a serving of turkey bacon on the side. "This is probably my favorite breakfast. I have unusual taste," she says.
