EAGAN, Minn. -- Northwest Airlines (NYSE:NWA) today announced that Richard B. Hirst has been named senior vice president - corporate affairs and administration. The company also named Tammy L. Lee to vice president - corporate communications, reporting to Hirst.
Hirst, whose appointment is effective Oct. 1, has been serving as the interim head of Northwest's corporate communications since July 30. He will be responsible for the airline's internal and external communications, along with other corporate responsibilities, and will report to Douglas Steenland, president and CEO.
