EDITORIAL: Don't fear the raptor.(Editorial)

Oct. 1--One of the great contributions to our national inventory of nightmares was the velociraptor from the "Jurassic Park" movies. Operating in packs, larger than a human, much faster, crafty, voracious, the velociraptor was one baaaad dinosaur.

It turns out that "Jurassic Park" exaggerated slightly, not that Hollywood would ever do that. The real velociraptor was only about 3 feet high and weighed about 30 pounds, the size of a large domestic turkey. But wait. It gets worse.
