Oct. 1--Comverse Technology Inc. (Pink Sheets: CMVT.PK) subsidiary Comverse has won three new multimedia and billing contracts worth a total of $15 million. The largest of the three, worth $10 million, is with Cable & Wireless plc (LSE: CW), which will deploy Comverse's Real-Time Billing Solution (RTBS) to support its mobile customers across 13 Caribbean islands. The system will also give customers easy international roaming, and flexible billing programs.

The second contract, worth a few million dollars, is with Corporacion Digitel, CA of Venezuela, the country's only GSM mobile operator, which will expand its use of Comverse's ...
