DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Ford Motor Company and Newman's Own Foundation continued its seven-year partnership to help end hunger in America by donating seven refrigerated trucks and thousands of pounds of fresh, nutritious food for distribution to people in rural areas of the country.
The truck and food donation was made at America's Second Harvest's national conference in Vail, Colorado on October 2, 2007.
This year, seven trucks and vans will be donated to food banks in Baton Rouge, LA; Battle Creek, MI; Denver, CO; Jackson, MS; Mineola, NY; Newport News, VA, and Santa Barbara, CA. To date, the donated trucks have traveled a combined ...
