Oct. 2--When Geno Auriemma and Chris Dailey visited guard Caroline Doty on Saturday at her home in Pottstown, Pa., they discovered she was over the frustration and self-pity that resulted from tearing her left ACL playing high school soccer Sept. 7.
"It all hit me for about a week after it happened on that Friday," said Doty, a 5-foot-10 guard from Germantown Academy and one of the four top 31 rated players committed to UConn's 2008 recruiting class. "I was basically by myself crying for three days. Then I was done. That's all I needed to get it out. Now, I am looking to the future."
