Team reels in bigger contracts: Group aids workers in getting new jobs.

Oct. 2--Today, Henry Bostic starts his new job as a maintenance worker at the Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course.

Bostic, 55, is a single father who lives with his 10-year-old daughter at Palo Alto's Opportunity Center and is the latest success story of the city's Downtown Streets Team, for which he has worked the past three months.

"They do a lot for you," Bostic said Monday. "It's a steppingstone to getting another job, getting back into the work force."
