BRIEF: Jacksonville revisits church zoning.

"O&I makes more (sense) from a planning perspective," King said. "Other churches (on Gum Branch Road) are actually zoned residential."

In April, the council postponed its decision by giving the property owners time to research the matter further. The council approved a special-use permit and site plan for the church, which will be built on a 20-acre tract off Gum Branch Road.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and will be held in the council chambers at City Hall off New Bridge Street.
