Oct. 2--Apparently board drills have paid off for the offensive line of White Oak High's football team.
Big men Eric Norvell and Diondre Wilson seem to think so, and judging by their unit's latest performance, perhaps they are right.
After all, the line had a big part in the Vikings compiling 308 yards rushing in Friday's 53-7 home victory over Mideastern 3-A/4-A Conference foe West Brunswick.
"We do a lot of board drills with Coach (Jonathan) Byrd and it helps," Norvell, a senior, said moments after his squad improved to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.
