Central in fifth.

Oct. 2--YANKTON -- Aberdeen Central sits in fifth place after one round of the State AA high school boys' golf meet in Yankton.

The Golden Eagles, with a score of 323 are 16 shots in back of the hosts, who lead with a team score of 307. The leader board is tight at the top as only six shots separate third place from eighth place in the team race.

Mitchell's Eric Hieb is the individual leader after one round, with his score of 72. Scott Williams is the top Aberdeen Central golfer, in a three-way tie at 77.
