Every other Monday around 8 P.M., Kim Micho, 44, sits in the car waiting to pick up two of her three kids from their religious-education classes. Often, she falls asleep. Micho, an X-ray technologist in Castle Rock, CO, has been up since 4:30 that morning and has put in one of her twice-a-week 12-hour shifts at a busy medical clinic. As she waits, she thinks about the chores she still has to do that night and the errands she'll run the next morning. "I'm constantly tired," says Micho. "I can never get enough sleep."
Even when she finally goes to bed, Micho doesn't always get the zzz's she needs. She lies awake like a wary soldier, ...
