Court assigns another judge to handle Dutra resentencing case.

Oct. 2--STOCKTON -- Sarah Dutra's resentencing for her part in a high-profile slaying in 2001 was delayed Monday until early December so a new judge assigned to the case can read thousands of pages trial transcripts.

The resentencing had been set to happen later this month.

Dutra, 27, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and accessory to murder for helping poison to death her boss, Woodbridge attorney Larry McNabney, on Sept. 11, 2001. Dutra stood trial alone after Laren Sims, McNabney's wife, hanged herself in a Florida jail after saying the two had carried out the crime.
