Oct. 2--It's lunchtime on a Sunday in late September and inside the Heritage High gym, the head coach of the two-time defending NCAA basketball champs works up a sweat.
Florida's Billy Donovan prowls the court, moving around players from the Apprentice School like chess pieces to demonstrate offensive concepts.
He talks -- check that, he projects -- non-stop. No microphone necessary. Back screens and player spacing and the low pick-and-roll and countering the "hard show."
Only a few dozen coaches are seated in the bleachers to hear Donovan and his staff, as well as VCU's Anthony Grant and Randolph-Macon's Mike Rhoades. The sparse turnout ...
