Rosemead, Calif., taps Claremont city staff to fill two positions.

Oct. 2--ROSEMEAD, Calif. -- The Rosemead city manager tapped his former employer -- the city of Claremont -- to fill two newly created positions.

Rosemead City Manager Oliver Chi, who worked in Claremont as assistant to the city manager for nearly two years, said two of his former colleagues will join him at Rosemead.

Former Claremont employee Aileen Flores served her first day on Sept. 25 as Rosemead's public affairs manager, a newly created position.

And on Oct. 8, Claremont finance director Matthew Hawkesworth will start as Rosemead's assistant city manager of internal affairs. In his role, he will handle duties of a human resources ...
