CPS dairy products boycott campaign weaker in Amman.

Oct. 2--AMMAN/ZARQA -- The Consumer Protection Society (CPS) on Monday intensified its dairy products boycott campaign by distributing more than 100,000 brochures to the residents of Zarqa, Madaba and Amman.

Mohammad Obeidat, president of the CPS, said the brochures, which contain recommendations and recipes on the best methods for producing cheaper homemade dairy products, will be handed out at universities, societies and professional associations.

The campaign kicked off after the CPS said that dairy producers and cattle farmers had failed to follow through on a promise they had made to lower prices by 10-15 per cent.
