Oct. 1--Rockwell Collins has agreed to dismiss a lawsuit against a rival supplier of flight simulation systems for pilot training over the unauthorized use of its copyrighted images and models.
Rockwell Collins announced the settlement with Texas-based RediFun Simulation over the weekend.
Under the settlement, RediFun agreed to pay a license fee to Rockwell Collins for the inadvertent use of ten copyrighted Rockwell Collins digital models on its demonstration software. The amount to be paid was not disclosed.
