Oct. 1--ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER STARBUCKS: The ubiquitous Seattle-based beanery (Nasdaq: SBUX, $26.20) plans to open another two Palm Beach County locations within the next three months. Greenacres is one site under consideration, but a spokeswoman says no lease has been finalized.
The additions won't necessarily put a Starbucks on every local corner, a la Manhattan, but the cluster is clearly coming. Seven more of the java joints are opening between now and December in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. That's in addition to the 31 stores the company has opened in South Florida since last October.
