Oct. 2--The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) plans to join with the private sector in developing new industrial estate projects in an effort to earn more than one billion baht in revenue this year, says IEAT governor Uthai Juntima.
The IEAT and several developers are considering new sites in Chachoengsao and Ratchaburi, as well as new industrial estates in border provinces to cater to growing cross-border trade. The IEAT expects each new investment project to be worth more than one billion baht, with up to 1,000 rai per development.
