Oct. 2--A Houston-based architecture firm will evaluate two Bryan school campuses in preparation for a bond proposal that could go before voters in May, the school board decided Monday.
Trustees approved a $10,000 contract with SBWV Architects to examine Kemp Elementary and the Carver Early Childhood Center to determine if any parts of the two buildings could be salvaged.
The firm will provide a report on the current condition of the buildings, including roofing and code issues, said Rachel Henderson, director of construction for the district.
