Oct. 2--Texas Department of Transportation officials will hold a public hearing Tuesday on Texas 249, a highway proposed to run through Grimes County.
The meeting is set for 4 p.m. at High Point Elementary School, 11937 Texas 105 East, Navasota.
State transportation officials were authorized by the Texas Transportation Commission in June to build new multimillion-dollar highways that will be financed by driver tolls. Texas 249, also known as the Aggie Expressway, is proposed to run parallel to Texas 105 from south of Navasota to ...
