Mixing work, marriage.

Oct. 1--Karl Fetterman's friend warned him when he mentioned that he was thinking of hiring his wife to work with him at Kling Bros. Insurance in York.

"They said, 'Don't do it. It'll hurt your marriage,'" he said.

Flash forward 14 years. Susan Fetterman has worked her way up in the company from file clerk to customer service representative.

The verdict?

"She has become truly one of the really key players at Kling Bros.," Karl Fetterman reported.
