Teen center up for discussion.

Oct. 2--COLTON -- The city is thinking about opening a teen center at Cesar Chavez Park.

The City Council is expected to discuss the issue at its 6 p.m. meeting today.

A teen center has been a top priority of city leaders for more than a year, but officials have been unable to secure a location.

The city received a $250,000 federal grant for a center, but it is in danger of losing the money if the project does not move forward.

A teen center would be a spot that teenagers could hang out and get their homework done in a safe environment.
