SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 1995--Intel Corporation today announced it is now a Corporate Partner of the 150th Anniversary Celebration of the Smithsonian Institution. The Smithsonian's sesquicentennial birthday celebration in 1996 will be the largest outreach program in the Institution's history.
In addition to financial support for the anniversary celebration, Intel will contribute its technical know-how during the two-year program. Intel has already provided several of its highest performing Pentium(R) processor-based personal computers which are being used by the Smithsonian to produce the complex designs for the 50,000-square-foot exhibition, ...
