Eli Lilly launches diabetes drug Byetta in India
New Delhi, Oct 3 (PTI) Drug firm Eli Lilly and Company (India) today launched injectable diabetes medication Byetta in India, recommended for patients with type-2 diabetes.
Byetta helps in improving blood sugar levels in patients with type-2 diabetes, a condition where either the body does not produce enough insulin or the cells ignore the insulin, in combination with metformin and or sulphonylureas, two common oral diabetes medications.
